I love this ‘Between light and dark: love language
Of life uttered between soft lips.’
Love language especially… I try to teach this to my children, to devour the art of speech and the written word, to utter those words often…
Am I successful? Well 50% - haha..!
It’s better than nothing I guess…
To name a favorite songwriter of poet is hard… words in song are existentially beautiful - Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan will always be high on my list… but sometimes I read a book and I can hear the songs in the prose.. Robert Macfarlan, Barbara Kingsolver to name but two, Nan Shepherd, to me one of the greatest writers on nature ever, plants words so brilliantly in my head I am haunted by them for days afterwards.
