In this episode, I dust off my journalism skills and sit down for a special Solstice Cuppa & Chat with the amazing Laura Daligan, a friend / mentor for almost 14 years and an internationally renowned artist, teacher, intuitive, and witch. Please refer below for her bio and website links.

Laura Daligan is an internationally renowned artist, teacher, and witch who has over 20 years of experience in tarot reading and esoteric workshop facilitation. She has appeared on various TV channels and in numerous magazines and books, and her art has been exhibited all over the country. Her spiritual path is rooted in paganism, animism, witchcraft, and shamanism.
Laura runs a plethora of online and in-person courses, in which she focuses on her unique blend of magic, creativity, shamanic work, and a deep connection to the land.
Over the last few years, Laura has had the esteem of being a witchcraft consultant for the British Museum on two major exhibitions: The World of Stonehenge and Feminine Power: The Divine to the Demonic. In support of the latter, she cocreated a seminar based on her “Goddess Awakening” class, which was presented at the British Museum.
Laura lives in the Quantocks and has recently completed a Masters of Viking Studies at the University of the Highlands and Islands, in Orkney. Her first book, A Guide to Reading the Runes: Harness the Wisdom and Power of the Ancient Norse Symbols, will be released in September 2025.

Photographer and poet Alicia-Marie Lavoie, the creative behind Wild Hearth, is an untamable soul walking an intuitive path with two feisty cats. A 2003 graduate of Northern Vermont University (Johnson), she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Feature Journalism. Her writing has been featured in the 2023, 2024, and 2025 Connecticut Bards Poetry Review. Alicia’s work honors being fully, ferally rooted in life and community. She can often be found exploring hidden pathways in the woods, near the sea, or deep within the human heart.
