Synopsis
Pull up a chair and get comfortable, folks!
Wow, it has definitely been a minute since I have attempted anything remotely similar to an impromptu podcast! I used to co-host a radio show at Northern Vermont University (Johnson), but that was ages ago.
In this episode, I share wisdom about understanding the significance of personal politics; finding, manifesting, and cultivating individual activism, or action (my example: “tending hearth”); and just being present.
P.S. I realized, after a thorough second listen, that I used the words “importance” and “important” too much. Oh well, just rusty!
Host
Alicia-Marie Lavoie, the creative behind Wild Hearth, is an untamable soul walking an intuitive path. A 2003 graduate of Northern Vermont University (Johnson), she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Feature Journalism. Her writing has been featured in both the 2023 and 2024 Connecticut Bards Poetry Review. Along with her photography and videography, Alicia’s words honor being fully, ferally rooted in life and community. She can often be found exploring hidden pathways in the woods, near the sea, or deep within the human heart.
